Stuart Dives Off Stage Into Crowd

Stuart has managed to keep up quite a cool persona in the house, and then blew it within a few seconds of leaving by diving into the crowd, only for them to move out the way and let him land on the floor.

OMG, this is one of the funniest bits of Big Brother this year, second only perhaps to Mikey eating a scotch bonnet chilli!

Dale Evicted from Big Brother House

Dale was evicted last night from the Big Brother House. It was a straight choice between the student PE teacher, and Stuart, the whining Manc. Personally I thought Stu was a certainty to go. He brings nothing to the house, pretended he wanted to go when really he wanted to stay and basically wouldn’t be missed.

At the end of Dale’s interview with Davina, he was reunited in a not-at-all-cynical move with Jen, he object of his desires in the house.

Rex and Belinda Up For Eviction

Rex and Belinda will face the public vote after this week’s bout of nominations. Rex seems to be on a mission to be rude about as many people as possible, and if he wanted to be nominated, he seems to have succeeded. Belinda’s intrusive questioning, snoring and jazz hands performances haven’t gone down well with the other housemates either.

I’d say it was fairly certain that Belinda will go. Looking at the forums, Rex has a solid fanbase, so it looks like its bye bye bye, Belinda Belinda Belinda.

Jen Evicted, Three More Go In

As expected, Jen was evicted from the Big Brother House. Rex had been saying he wanted to go and had to emulate a reaction of frustration, but there was no hiding the smirk on his face.

After Jen’s eviction, three new housemates entered the house:

Sara: Australian girl, quite pretty and a bit scatty
Maysoon: Very glamourous Londoner (of Syrian descent) who is a professional model
Belinda: Eccentric theatre director

Rex and Jen up for Eviction

Rex and Jen both received enough nominations from the housemates to guarantee that they would face the public vote. Jen has been quite a nasty housemate, so I think she will soon be out of the house as well she knows. I found it odd that after picturegate, she didn’t nominate Mo or Rex, but instead Rachel and Kat. Very odd, unless they were told to draw a line under it. I can’t wait to see the back of the awful Rebecca also!

Does Rex like Mohamed?

Rex and Mohamed formed a kind of alliance because they are both pretty unpopular in the house, or at least in the eyes of the self appointed fun group. But I’ve seen Rex snapping at Mohamed a few times, and you wonder if he just tolerates him because he doesn’t have anyone in the house or does he actually like him - what do you think?

What did you think of Picturegate?

Or was it Spitgate? Either way, it was a pretty ugly affair.

Rex was dumb for messing with the painting, but he did apologise and Jen accepted it. And, it was “just a painting” as Mohamed said - earning himself a spit in the face from vile Dennis. It was the product of a Big Brother task, it wasn’t a Monet and it wouldn’t be in an art gallery, as Jen had trouble accepting.

From my perspective, Mohamed was the innocent victim of the whole thing, being the recipient of a barrel load of abuse, aggression and then saliva. Stuart and Dale were both aggressive and contributed towards the problems, Jen was being absurd and milking it, Bex inflamed it and then Dennis was just plain awful. The spit was one thing, but his reaction after was absolutely disgusting, trying to wind Mo up with this “mwah mwah”. Good riddance to him, I say.

Who do you think came out of it worst?

Sylvia and Mohamed Up For Eviction

Sylvia and Mohamed face the public vote this Friday, having received the most nominations from their housemates. Sylvia seems like to go as far as I can see, having had a few big conflicts in her short time. Mohamed can be an awkward character but I don’t see him as being hated.

So will the public turn the love square into a love triangle this Friday? And will Stu now have a clear run at Jen??

Mikey’s Standup Routine

The housemates had a talent show, and after the cringe fest that was Mario and Lisa’s routine, we had Mikey doing a standup routine which was like a slow motion car crash. If you can bear to watch it without putting your head in your hands and looking through the gaps of your fingers, you’re braver than me. The reactions of Dale, Rex, Jen and Rachel are priceless.
