The Love Square

So in the beginning it was Dale and Jen. They had some kind of chemistry and apparently he went “wow” whens he came in. The Stuart, the campest housemate ever, came in, and Jen didn’t say “wow” but her eyes certainly did. Then Sylvia pounced on Stu, got in the bath with him, wanted to share the bed, and make it pretty clear she fancied him.

Eventually, Stu worked out that Sylvia liked him but told her he didn’t think like that. Sylvia went for a cry and Dale was there to comfort her. Whilst that was happening, Jen and Stu were on the sofa, both agreeing that neither of them wanted a relationship in the house, but there was some lingering looks between them.

Then Dale and Jen had a chat and Jen explained why Stu was her perfect guy, but she would make do with Dale.

Hmm… so how will this love square all pan out? i think in the end, Stu and Jen may end up together. What do you think? Who’s being genuine? And has anyone actually asked Stu if he is gay? (yes, I know he has a daughter but even so…)

Sylvia and Stuart

Wow, Sylvia did not waste any time at all. It seems like just a day ago that she was taking huge offence at Mohamed because she has a boyfriend, and now she’s jumping into a bath with some guy and then clambering all over him in bed! Ok, we get that they know each other from the audition process, but do they *know* each other…?

Stuart Enters The Big Brother House

A new housemate was thrown into the mix last night, to replace the ejected Alex, although since Alex would have gone anyway, I’m not sure that she actually needed replacing. The new housemate’s name is Stuart, and he is a 25 year old property developer. He comes across as some vain type, wearing mascara I think, who gives himself a 9/10 for looks.

After going into the house, the girls looked particularly taken by him with Jennifer having a huge smile on her face and Sylvia being keen to show him around the house. I think some of the guys - Dale, in particular - looked just a teeny bit threatened. This should be fun…

Alex Removed From Big Brother House

Wow, Alex has been removed from the Big Brother House. Digital Spy has all the news, including a quite chilling transcript of what Alex apparently said. In text, it sounds awful, but I have no idea how she was when she said it.

It was only a matter of time, I guess. Whatever possessed them to think Alex would be a good housemate? The funny thing is, on the launch night most of them got booed but I think Alex was the only where the crowd actually shouted “Out! Out! Out! before she was even in. I thought it was a bit rough at the time, but it turns out it was a very good snap judgement.

Alex and Mario Up For Eviction

This week’s nominations have been announced, and Alex got a stonking - although not altogether suprising - NINE nominations from her fellow housemates, including one from Sylvia who spend the first week firm in her shadow.

In any other week, I think Mario may have found himself in trouble, but surely, up against Alex, Mario is home and dry. What do you think?

Sylvia Wakes Up To Alex

Sylvia seemed to have some kind of lightbulb moment yesterday when she realised that Alex wasn’t the best person to be associating herself with. Actually Alex has calmed down quite a lot and is nothing like as bad as last week, but when she got up at the table to say she always said it to someone’s face if they had a problem, Sylvia couldn’t believe her hears. She went to the diary room to say that Alexandra blatantly bitches about everyone.

Sylvia actually comes across as a nice girl and quite fun, so hopefully we can see a different side to her if she isn’t in Alex’s shadow.

Darnell Rapping

Check this funny video of Darnell rapping to the group. It’s actually pretty funny, and I think he’s pretty pleased with it too judging by his reaction!

Stephanie Evicted From Big Brother

I did say earlier in the week that Stephanie should probably because she didn’t much effort into the secret mission, but I was sad to see her evicted on Friday night. She was a pretty girl who was desperate not to be the first evicted. And really there I think she had a lot more potential to be an interesting housemate than Mario or Lisa, with the beginnings of a closeness to Rex. I think Rex’s girlfriend will probably be very pleased that Steph is out.

Is Alex really that bad after all?

I heard on the radio about the hundreds of complains to Ofcom about Alex’s bullying in the Big Brother house, and I’ve been pretty disgusted with the way she behaves. But I was watching the highlights show last night and couldn’t help but feel some sympathy for her. As she said, this is someone that has had to fight for everything she’s got, and probably what she has got isn’t all that much. Then you have someone like Rex who has a pretty privileged upbringing with his parents handing him a business on a plate (if you excuse the pun), just coming along and deciding he will use her lighter. Or Mikey putting her underwear on. Alex is clearly very possessive about her things, and is that really such a crime?

Ok, her crime is that she talks to people in a really disgusting way, but maybe spending time with people who don’t talk to each other like that will be a good thing so hopefully there will be some benefit to her from being in the Big Brother house if she is willing to learn new things about herself and change the way she is.

Lisa, Mario, Steph and Luke Face Public Vote

Luke, Lisa, Mario and Stephanie now face the public vote after the rest of the house guessed that Mario and Lisa were the secret couple. It’s a shame because I like most of the four. Mario seems a good guy, Luke is a total character, Steph could be a good housemate to keep longer and Lisa hasn’t really done much yet but I wouldn’t like to see her go so soon. Did you spot when she caught the bouquet at the wedding? There will be footie teams up and down the country trying to sign her as a goalie I think.

Rather than any of these four, i would much sooner see Alex go who has jumped to the top of my “least fave housemate” list with her horrible attitude.
