It seems to detract from it a bit if two people have a ready made best friend and don't need to work as hard at building relationships. C4 seem to be really scraping the barrell for contestants these days.....BB8 could've been more entertaining for instance if Sam and Amanda were interchanged and to see how long it would've taken the rest of them to work out they were 2 different people. I do think though that it would be a good idea for big brother too just let the public decide who they dont want to watch for the first few weeks. I know quite a few people who have switched off because there are individuals in the house that are blatently unpleasant to watch.
