Big Brother Meets “The Good Life”

It has been reported that this year’s Big Brother contestants will have to grow their own potatoes and carrots, and season their food with herbs from the garden. Personally I could live without carrots and herbs but I’m sure potatoes will be in demand so it looks like there better be a housemate with green fingers.

Big Brother 9 to feature Blind Contestant

The Sunday People is reporting today that Channel 4 has “recruited” a blind contestant to appear in the imminent series of Big Brother. Under the headline, “Blind Brother“, the paper says the show wants to give a positive representation of blind people.

Red Wesco Kickboy Pedal Bin on BB9

The new series of BB hasn’t started yet but I was looking at the pictures of the new Big Brother house and one thing jumped straight out at me - the Wesco Kickboy bin in the kitchen. In a deep shape of red to match the theme, this ultra trendy 40L bin is actually pretty hard to get hold of and certainly isn’t cheap - with a RRP of £289.99 but usually retailing online at about the £150 mark. But it’s very cool and Wesco is renowned for its high quality, leading edge bins and kitchen ware.

Channel 4 today unveiled photos of the house for the new series of Big Brother, due to start June 5th. Check out some of the pics below - looks like there’s a cool red theme going on in the kitchen with red walls, crockery and accessories.

Big Brother 9 Logo Revealed

It has been confirmed that Big Brother 9 will start Thursday June 5th, 2008 with a “law and order” theme. Check out the new logo, show below.

When Does Big Brother 9 Start?

Digital Spy reported that the launch of BB9 has been delayed until June 5th to avoid a ratings clash with ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent. Can’t wait!
